Club Activities

Join us Nov 25th, 26th, and 27th for a Christmas adventure that, in a few hours, brings you back 700 years into an honored medieval tradition.
Our Christkindlmarkt showcases handmade crafts and works of art by the finest artisans, the heart-warming sounds and sights of live Christmas music and pageantry, delicious German food specialties.

It’s a delightful way to experience & begin the holiday season in Connecticut. The air fills with the fragrance of sizzling bratwursts, schnitzel, sweet breads & pastries, roasted/candied nuts, and hot spiced Glühwein.

Decorated booths sell wonderful Christmas decorations, hand crafts, and a variety of sweet treats, i.e. German cakes, cookies, chocolates, pastries, and sweet dough breads called Stollen.

There will be live music and 6 live performances of Medieval Christmas customs. All the performers are HSB members.

All are welcomed - bring a friend or two!  For more information call (860) 282-0778.  We are asking for a $1 donation from adults that will be donated to Newington for those who are in need this holiday season.

Friday, November 25th from 5:00PM to 10:00PM
