My Mother and I drove to your club on Saturday. The information on CPBC
had the Christmas Market still posted. We did not look at the dates
correctly. Anyway we were disapointed. Hopefully there will be another
occasion to come visit. My Mother and I were born in Frankfurt/am.

I have always been curious about the Hartford Saegerbund Verein. I was
stationed in Germany for 3.5 years and have since made several return
trips to Deutschland. I love the food, beer,culture and especially the
people.

Hi, Your Christkindlmarkt got rave reviews from my sister, Carine, who
attended it in 2008. She marveled at what a beautiful job the Sängerbund
did putting it together, the delicious food, beautiful displays, items
for sale, and kid-friendliness, too. This said, we are planning to go
together, five kids in tow, to it this year (day after Thanksgiving).
Oh, my sister brought her MIL (and husband), who was equally impressed.
So, in short, kudos for breathing life into a lovely German tradition,
and in greater Hartford! P.S. My sisters and I grew up attending events, etc. at the Sängerbund & Liederkranz so this will be a kind-of 'coming home' after a couple of decades miles away from North Mountain Road.

Friends and my wife and I have enjoyed the last two Sangerbund
Octoberfests in Newington. Hopefully, we can enjoy a few more events in
